| "Last weekend, we had torrential rains, which the ducks hadn't experienced before. They stood outside and were absolutely transfixed, letting the water run down their bodies. Keaton, who is the big swimmer of the group, tipped his head way back into the downpour. Sometimes he would open his mouth and let the water run in. He looked ecstatic. It was very beautiful and my husband and I felt lucky to witness them discovering a heavy rain for the first time. It was one of those moments when life stands still." |
